Donna “Iggy” Ignatavicius
MS, RN, CNE, CNEcl, ANEF, FAADN – DI Associates, Inc.
Nationally recognized as an expert in nursing education and medical-surgical/ gerontological nursing, Donna Ignatavicius, better known as “Iggy” by faculty and students, has a wealth of experiences as an educator, clinical nurse specialist, and administrator for over 35 years.
She has taught at all nursing education levels. Currently she provides curriculum consultation, accreditation preparation, and national presentations for faculty on topics such as evaluative methods, active learning strategies (including those related to QSEN), curriculum transformation, and student success through her consulting company, DI Associates, Inc.
Donna has presented over 2500 workshops in 49 states and Canada during the past 10 years. Additionally, she is the author of numerous articles and books, including Medical-Surgical Nursing: Patient-Centered Collaborative Care, 6th ed. (2010) with Linda Workman. Their 7th edition is available February, 2012.
In 2007 she was inducted as a fellow into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF) for her national contribution to the field of nursing education.
