Yoga is a powerful, evidence-based tool for holistic healthcare. It empowers both providers and patients through mindful movement and breathwork. This 2-part presentation explores the scientific benefits of yoga on chronic stress and the physiological and mental benefits of yoga. We will look at patient-centered yoga as well as self-care techniques for you, the busy and chronically stressed out healthcare provider. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I will offer an hour of yoga with a debriefing session to follow.
